One question pending some of us is "Can my non-club friends join us?"

Well, as a club, we have to come to an agreement

These "Non-club" members would be given special ranks only outsiders can have. They would never be given abilities original members and officers will have. If a "Non-club" member joined the actual club, then they would have their abilities and ranks changed.
